Jo.Co. Historical Society events have grown in popularity and community participation over the years. This has been accomplished with the generous help and talents of many dedicated and hardworking volunteers. Annual events include the Pie and Ice Cream Social in July, a Cemetery Tour in October and a Celebration of the Holidays in December. New volunteers are always welcome to participate. During the year, other events are held in partnership with other communtiy organizations. Some of these are annual and many of them just come up during the year. We advertise these "impromptu" events on our Mondays Make History page in the local newspaper, in our quarterly newsletter, The Oldtimer, and on this calendar....so keep in touch!
